The Battle of Revelation by Eduardo Spohr
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Do not start reading this book if you have something important to do. Certainly this “something important” suffer delays. The story is just phenomenal! The setting is the world, heaven, or hell, but also is the Rio de Janeiro, a China, Rome, Jerusalem. The author has created a book where every page is a poison of addiction that will not let him rest, making always read another, another, another…
I confess I did not like, the first time, when the author gave three, four, five names to the same character. Ablon, the main character, is also known as the Renegade Angel, First General, The Reborn, Hero. I was upset at first contact, with this new way of giving different names to the same character / object, but then I got used.
Another thing is back in time. The story begins in the future and, all of a sudden, a turning of the page, history back to whatever many thousands years BC. and begins a new journey. I found this very annoying the first time, but these new journeys, Besides explaining the past Ablon, simply become fantastic throughout the narrative. At the end, every journey is a story within the main story, but always leaving you all addicted to continue reading.
I think I read in record time, at least for MIM. Now I have to return to give attention to other important projects. :)
Like the abstract? Enjoy and Buy your copy soon. I'm sure you will not regret!
