Review: A Biografie de Steve Jobs – Walter Isaacson

I must confess to you that, although he enjoyed reading, I had never read a biography of someone, but if all Walter Isaacson wrote this book is even true (I believe so much), then the life and achievements of Steve Jobs are really memorable. My review about a Biografie de Steve Jobs must begin not by the products he created, but something that struck me the most: a sua personalidade.

Steve Jobs was a very creative person, visionary, passionate about creating products, detailed and extremely thick, rude and bad mannered to treat people who considered idiots. The personality of Steve Jobs marked a person, even before she opened her mouth, as a genius or an idiot. Pity those who began working with Steve and belonged to the second group (idiots). Of course, these did not survive long.

But back to talking about the book's main character. Before the release of the official biography, Leander Kahney had written the book The head of Steve Jobs that tells a little about the life of Steve, but this is only a brief overview of all the wonders created by Jobs.

Steve Jobs for those unfamiliar (is there such a person?) is the founder of Apple, inventor of the first personal computer, o Apple I, inventor do iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes and many other devices and services that have revolutionized the industry and how we spend enjoying technology.

*A note. When I say invented does not mean that he developed the circuits and all the technical solutions for products. Not! When I say mean he invented the concept evolved, refined design and improved user experience.

Continuing… The book describes in detail all of the life of Steve Jobs, since his teens with drugs, of his spiritual quest, the abandonment of the college, through the creation of Apple, Pixar, until the invention of the iPad. Account in detail how this could revolutionize the market for music with the iTunes Store, mode of retailing, with the creation of a new concept store physical, and how revolutionized the film industry with 3D animations (Toy Story, Monsters, Inc.. and Finding Nemo are examples of films blockbusters, created by Pixar, management Jobs).

Want to know how the idea came about iPhone, or how he managed to convince the entire music industry to sell them $0.99 each, or as recreated the concept cartoons to movie, or how it changed his life? The SIM, Buy this book now and surprise yourself with the amount of things that this man has achieved in 56 years of life. A short life, but lived with great passion for creating products.

Unfortunately I have not seen the book reference to Mac Book Air, I know that was submitted by the person in one of his shows (yes, why launch event Apple products are always a show), but there is a hint for an extended version.

He died in 05/10/2011, but managed to leave us living words to complete his biography. I hope that creativity has been fully absorbed by Apple and that Apple will continue to create wonders in the management of Jobs.

The book has a lot more topics that my review, as the struggle to survive pancreatic cancer, crazy diets to follow, Friends and enemies that did, fights with Microsoft, and many others who say: buy the book you will not regret.
