The Last Four Things by Paul Hoffman
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
After reading the first book of this trilogy (The Left Hand of God), I confess that I expected more of this continued.
The author has created an identity very grim for Thomas Cale, main character in the book. In the first ele Menino was deleted and tortured getting freedom and love. In the second it is turned into a devil incarnate!
I did not like the narrative of this second book. The author creates a world where change and modify some truths as if new lies were irrefutable. I found it strange.
It's a heavy book to read. I would say that the blood run off easily this book if it were possible.
