Who never sought a solution to keep your contacts up to date? It is. We, nowadays, we have friends CONTACTS, of fellow workers, partner companies, of lojas, cinema and a lot of other things noted in several places, Outlook is in labor, Outlook home, the e-mail online, the contact block on paper, na agenda, in bread paper nailed with a magnet on the refrigerator and in several other places, beyond that wallet full of business cards that hardly opens, since not remember when that was met with that person…
It is, I do not have a portfolio of business cards, but I always had the feeling of "missing something" when I thought of my contacts in the organization. Ever wanted an ideal solution to keep my contacts, agenda, Outlook notes and tasks of work synchronized with my Outlook from home, with my Yahoo e-mail and my phone. Because I have been researching for some time now and finally found the current scenario to meet my needs! Everything was looking boils down to
The Plaxo is a system which aims to maintain his contacts, calendar, tasks and notes sync to multiple clients. With it, you can register your Outlook client work, Outlook client home, configure a sync point with Yahoo Mail!, with Gmail, Outlook Express, MSN Hotmail, Mac OS X, AOL / AIM and can still access a WAP link to access their information from any mobile.
That to me is the best of all worlds!!! Now I have completely updated the contacts on all my access points and can finally use them, without fear of having an outdated information.
This article has scoped create a step-by-step how to configure this tool but warn that there is a very good solution for this as we use.
Pros:
Besides this great facility to keep everything synchronized, Plaxo has an online interface and WAP, and is also up for free 1000 contacts.
Cons:
For those who prezam privacy, your data is hosted online and accessible by anyone who wants Cracker hack the system. But that can happen with your email client, with your Orkut and whatever is online…
How to sync with the phone, write an article about it later, since I already have the solution also! ;)
–down here, just bullshit–
How to sync with your small notebook, well, it is not yet possible. Not yet invented a pen that writes with Bluetooth and delete your contacts… Although the world of Harry Potter is a shame Replay…
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the tips! Another suggestion I wanted to leave for the same purpose is the EVO Collaborator for Outlook (synchronize contacts, iCloud calendars and tasks / Android / Yahoo / Gmail with Outlook). It is a very useful tool that I have used. Anyone who wants can take a look here:
