Today, 18 April 2013, I can say that my blog BrunoCunha.com is experiencing a historical moment! After much searching different ways to implement a multilingual site, after testing many WordPress plugins, wrap your head writing the best code CSS (I've been a web developer, but this is very, long) finally managed to implement a machine translation solution that always dreamed of having here on the blog.
Now two flags, one from Brazil and other American, aparecem logo above the search bar, indicating the two available languages. In addition to this option, the blog recognizes the preferred language of the browser and displays the content in accordance with this configuration. See the picture below:
All this was only possible thanks to the plugin Transposh Translation Filter and some minor changes my. Now all pages are automatically translated into English and automatically added to the file sitemap.xml to be quickly indexed by Google.
Yes, pages are automatically translated into English by the plugin, but this allows me to change the entire translated text if I find that the translation was not good.
If anyone is interested in turning your WordPress blog into a multilingual site, can ask for help here in the comments I will try to help!
