Searching the internet, I found that this method of connection is known as ad-hoc sharing. I found the post Making the Connection Wireless Home Network in Windows XP Without a Router Microsoft's own explaining the process.
Stay as a clue. Not yet tested, but it sure will be very handy! I will test with a friend who wants to play a game online! ;)
