While the product has a loyal following, over the years usage has declined. So, on July 1, 2013, we will retire Google Reader. Users and developers interested in RSS alternatives can export their data, including their subscriptions, with Google Takeout over the course of the next four months.

A Google, and all serious business, make difficult decisions regarding investments in new businesses and canceling others who just do not become as profitable as expected. The name that is to focus efforts on businesses that bring more value to the company and its customers.
What alternatives to Google Reader?
Had already written the post how to make your life easier with Online RSS citing Google Reader as the primary tool for aggregating your feeds, but now I have to create another list of nominations. Then, follows until you write another post detailing the options:
